Seven voices and a heartbeat of earth: the living song of La Figueral

Rusó Sala presents LA FIGUERAL, a choral work of seven women’s voices and percussion. Created, arranged and directed by herself, it is inspired and based on the traditional Iberian repertoire (Catalan and Spanish languages) and new pieces. Poetics in an ecofeminist way, which reveals us more pleasant and habitable imaginaries futures.

On stage, 7 female voices with tenderness and courage, 7 female bodies rooted in the landscapes that make them up. Answered to the frenetic rhythm that unfolds us, La Figueral runs through slow sounds that re-visit tradition and burst into a stage present where space, performative action and light interact.

Rusó Sala: the seed of the project

La Figueral is a choral project created and directed by the Catalan singer-songwriter Rusó Sala, whose career is defined by a deep exploration of Mediterranean roots, poetry, and the dialogue between tradition and modernity. This work emerges as a natural extension of her artistic universe, where the collective voice becomes an instrument of memory, emotion, and future.
